Everyone’s staying home
breathing hard
wondering
if they have a job
Their parents
Chasing the Fox News dream
In the Church for Easter
He’s ten for ten
And records set
For deaths and those infected
Triaging victims blue or red
And if you’re blue, you’re dead
I feel stupid and contagious
American Virus
We’re number one!
We’re number one!
We’re number one!
And the body count rise
We’re number one!
We’re number one!
We’re number one!
And the body count rise
Toyotas filled with toilet paper
Millennials on Spring Break
You can’t have ventilators,
But let them eat cake.
He’s ten for ten
And records set
For deaths and those infected
Triaging victims blue or red
And if you’re blue, you’re dead
I feel stupid and contagious
American Virus
We’re number one!
We’re number one!
We’re number one!
And the body count rise
We’re number one!
We’re number one!
We’re number one!
And the body count rise

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer

«Dans le pur silence de la ville, le fou est à l'écoute d'une machine à coudre que manipule avec souplesse et dextérité une habile couturière confectionnant des masques pour le personnel médical subissant la pénurie de masques, pénurie due à l'impéritie des arrogants gouvernants de pacotille, despotes ou paltoquets de service.» (Eugène Savitzkaya, Fou de Paris) Ol64

hardcore punk, jazz, alien themes, kind of all my jams wrapped into a tight package. Intense, freaky, lean runtime but feels dense especially being sectioned into essentially 4 parts. Easily one of the best punk records of the decade so far. Also that drumming...holy shit alienasu
